Created in 1990, by well-known Smokey Bear artist Harry Rossoll and Quintus Herron, Board Chairman of the Oklahoma Forest Heritage Center. They felt that children everywhere needed to understand the importance of trees.
Since his creation, Tree Bear has become a symbol of good forestry management throughout the World.
